My company filed a bid protest with GAO last week after we lost a federal contract for court reporting services. It was an SDVOSB set-aside under NAICS 561492. We were told our proposal was technically unacceptable, but we think the agency made a mistake in its evaluation. The solicitation was issued for a new three-year BPA and the value was over $5 million. We were debriefed and then filed the protest within 10 days of the debrief. I know GAO has 100 days to issue a decision. What actions can an agency take if a bid protest is sustained by GAO? What are the potential outcomes for the agency and the awardee if our protest is successful?
