GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS)
Also called: GSA Schedule, MAS, Federal Supply Schedule, FSS, GSA contract, Schedule 70
The GSA Multiple Award Schedule is a long-term, government-wide contract vehicle run by the General Services Administration under which agencies can order commercial products and services at pre-negotiated prices and terms.
Ordering procedures are FAR 8.4; the schedule program itself is run by GSA's Federal Acquisition Service, and since 2020 the former numbered schedules are consolidated into one MAS with large categories and special item numbers. Getting on it means submitting an offer through GSA's eOffer, proving commercial sales, negotiating pricing, and then reporting sales and paying the industrial funding fee through the contract's life. State and local buyers may use parts of it under GSA's cooperative purchasing program.
What to check: whether your buyers actually order through MAS (check FPDS for orders in your category), whether you meet the past sales and financial requirements in the current solicitation on SAM.gov, and whether you can keep up with the modifications, price reductions clause and reporting. Many schedule holders never receive an order because the schedule is a license to be ordered from, not a stream of orders.
What it is not: a GWAC or an IDIQ awarded by a single agency, and not a set-aside.
