We are looking at RFP DLA-26-03-2027 for MRO supplies, a federal solicitation from DLA. The NAICS code is 423840, Industrial Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. The deadline is December 2026. I've been through the document several times but am still trying to understand the delivery schedule requirements. Section F specifies a 30-day lead time for some items, but others have a 7-day requirement. We usually stock these items, but the quantities are large enough that a 7-day turnaround for the full amount could be tight for some of the specific product requirements.

Has anyone else reviewed this solicitation? How are you interpreting the different delivery requirements for the various National Stock Numbers (NSNs) listed?

Your question about different delivery requirements on RFP DLA-26-03-2027 for MRO supplies is a common one with DLA solicitations. When a solicitation lists multiple delivery schedules for different items, you must meet each specific requirement for the items as stated in the RFP.

My firm has seen this type of varied delivery schedule on many DLA BPAs and IDIQs. The Government expects you to comply with the delivery terms for each National Stock Number (NSN) or line item as specified. If you cannot meet the 7-day requirement for certain quantities, you should consider if this is a bid or no-bid decision for those specific items, or if you can adjust your stock levels to meet the demand. You can also submit a question through the portal during the Q&A period to seek clarification on whether partial shipments or alternative lead times would be acceptable. DLA uses the DIBBS system for these types of solicitations, and any questions and answers will be posted there.
