I'm looking at filing a bid protest with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) for a federal contract. It was an RFQ for court reporting services, a set-aside for SDVOSB concerns under NAICS 561492. We lost the award, and I'm considering a protest, but I need to figure out the filing fee. I know it changed recently. I saw some information online that mentioned a fee of $500 for protests filed on or after October 1, 2024. Is that still the correct amount for a GAO bid protest filing in late 2026?
What is the filing fee for a GAO bid protest in late 2026?

The filing fee for a GAO bid protest in late 2026 is the amount established for protests filed on or after October 1, 2024. GAO bid protests must be filed through the Electronic Protest Docketing System (EPDS). The fee is paid at the time of filing. Remember that a protest based on an impropriety apparent in the solicitation itself must be filed before bid opening or the time set for receipt of initial proposals. Other protests must be filed no later than 10 days after the basis of protest is known or should have been known, whichever is earlier. If you requested a postaward debrief, the protest is filed no later than 10 days after the debriefing date offered. The GAO shall issue a decision on a protest within 100 days after it is filed, or within 65 days under the express option.
